A Perfect Beginning: Welcoming My First Studio Newborn

There is always something exciting about a "first," and this session was one I had been looking forward to for a long time. This sweet little guy was my very first newborn client in my new studio, and I couldn't have asked for a better family to share that milestone with.

From the moment they arrived, everything just seemed to fall into place. Although baby was a little older than the typical newborn age, he absolutely rocked his session. He was calm, cooperative, and gave us so many beautiful moments to capture. Sessions with older newborns can sometimes be unpredictable, but he made my job easy and proved that beautiful newborn portraits can happen at any age.

One of my favorite parts of the session was seeing the special items his family brought along. I always love when families incorporate meaningful keepsakes into their photos because it helps tell their unique story. These personal touches made the images even more special and created memories that will be treasured for years to come.

And can we talk about his name outfit? I am absolutely in love with it! It was such a perfect addition to the session and added so much personality to his portraits. Little details like that make every session unique and memorable.

As I settle into this new studio space, sessions like this remind me exactly why I love what I do. Being trusted to capture these early moments is truly an honor, and I am so grateful this wonderful family chose me to document such a special time in their lives.
