From Newborn to Baptism: Capturing a Beautiful Milestone

There’s something so special about getting to watch families grow right in front of your lens. This beautiful girl has been coming to me since her newborn session, and being able to now capture such an important milestone—her baptism—was truly an honor. Moments like this are what make photography so much more than just photos to me.

She arrived looking absolutely stunning in a dress that was handmade overseas, and it was every bit as meaningful as it was beautiful. A piece like that deserves to be documented in a full session, and I’m so glad we were able to do just that. Every detail, every texture, every soft movement of the dress added something so timeless to her images.

And of course, we couldn’t forget her sweet little brother, who joined in and completely stole some moments of his own. Together, they brought so much joy and personality into the studio. They truly crushed their session in the new space, making it feel warm, lively, and full of love.

Sessions like this are a reminder of why I do what I do. It’s not just about capturing a single day—it’s about documenting a family’s story as it unfolds over time. Watching my clients come back year after year, trusting me with their memories, means more than I can put into words. They really do become like a second family to me.

Sprinkles, Smiles & One Happy Little Princess 👑

Some sessions are just pure magic—and this one was exactly that.

This sprinkle-themed cake smash was everything sweet, colorful, and full of joy. From the moment she arrived, this happy little princess lit up the studio with her big smiles and even bigger personality. She truly flew through her session like a pro!

There wasn’t a single moment without laughter. She embraced every second—from the adorable pre-cake portraits to diving right into her cake with the cutest curiosity and excitement. The sprinkle theme couldn’t have been more perfect for her bright and bubbly spirit.

It’s sessions like this that remind me how special these milestones really are. Turning one is such a big moment, and getting to capture all that happiness is something I never take for granted.

A Day Full of Smiles: My First Mini Sessions in the New Studio

There are some days in this business that truly remind you why you love what you do—and this was absolutely one of them.

I recently hosted my very first round of mini sessions in my new studio, and I couldn’t have asked for a more special experience. Partnering with the amazing Stefanie and her animals made the day unforgettable. From the moment families walked in, you could feel the excitement in the room. The animals brought so much joy, laughter, and genuine smiles to every single child (and let’s be honest—the adults loved it just as much!).

Watching the kids interact with the animals was such a highlight. They were gentle, patient, and listened so well—it made everything run smoothly and created the sweetest, most natural moments to capture.

Of course, with any “first,” there are always a few learning curves. A new studio, a new setup, and a new flow—but honestly, that’s all part of the journey. Every session helped me grow more comfortable and confident in the space, and I know it will only get easier and even better from here.

What truly meant the world to me was the incredible support. These sessions sold out in just a matter of hours, and I’m still blown away by that. To every family who booked, showed up, and trusted me with your memories—thank you. You made this day more special than I can even put into words.

I’m already so excited to work with Stefanie again and bring this experience back. Seeing those little faces light up is something I won’t forget anytime soon—and I can’t wait to create even more magic next time.

There’s something extra special about “firsts” — and this one meant so much to me.

Ava’s cake smash session was the very first one in my new studio, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect way to start this new chapter. Getting to celebrate such a big milestone for such a sweet family made it even more meaningful.

What made this session even more special was seeing a familiar face — Ava’s big sister, Audrey! I had the honor of photographing Audrey’s cake smash when she turned one, so having her join in for Ava’s session truly brought everything full circle. Moments like these are the reason I love what I do.

Watching families grow, capturing these milestones, and being invited back year after year is something I never take for granted. Seeing Audrey step into her role as big sister while celebrating Ava’s big first birthday was just the sweetest reminder of how quickly time flies.

Ava absolutely loved her splash bath, and her smiles and giggles filled the studio — officially making it the perfect first cake smash session in this new space.

One of the best things about cake smash sessions at my studio is how simple and stress-free it is for parents. All you need to do is bring your baby and a cake — I take care of everything else. After the smash, your little one gets to splash in a mini bath for an easy (and fun!) clean-up, and once they’re all done, you can simply pack up and head home while I handle the mess. You already have plenty on your plate, so I truly love being able to make this an easy, enjoyable experience for you.

To this beautiful family — thank you for trusting me again to capture another unforgettable milestone. It truly means the world to me to be part of your story.

Ho Ho Ho

Santa will be in the studio Nov 18 & 29th both days 5:30-8:10pm. That means only 8 sessions a day so a total of 16 Santa sessions. Once they are gone, they are gone. Santa is booked for the season so I don’t see there being any other dates able to be added. I expect these to go super quick just like the beach ones did. Below you will find what the set up will look like and the link for anyone who is interested in them you can sign up.

They will be $165 - $100 non refundable deposit due at booking.

Behaved dogs are more than welcome but I will need to be informed when you book.
