A Session Worth the Wait

Sometimes family sessions don't go exactly as planned, and that's perfectly okay!

When we first met for this sweet family's beach session, little Troy just wasn't feeling it. As photographers, we know that children have their own schedules, moods, and comfort levels, and forcing the moment is never the answer. Instead, we adjusted our plans and gave Troy the time he needed.

A few weeks later, we met again at a different location, and I am so glad we did! This time, Troy's true personality completely shined through. He was all smiles, full of energy, chatting up a storm, and constantly on the lookout for bunnies. Watching his curiosity and excitement unfold made the session so much fun and allowed us to capture genuine moments that truly reflect who he is.

These are the moments I love most—the real smiles, the laughter, and the little personality traits that make each child unique. The extra patience was absolutely worth it, and the final images tell the story of a happy little boy and the family who loves him so much.
