Tiny Toes & Furry Paws: A Heartwarming In-Home Newborn Session

This sweet family invited me into their home to document their newest little love, and we were able to create a beautiful mix of lifestyle and studio-style newborn portraits—all without ever leaving the house!

We captured the cozy, natural moments that make lifestyle photography so special—snuggles on the couch, family connections, and those little everyday moments that tell the story of this new chapter. We also incorporated more posed, studio-style images, giving them those classic newborn portraits while still keeping everyone comfortable in their own space.

And, of course, their furry family member had to be part of the fun! 🐾 Their fur baby did just as amazing as the newborn and was such an important part of these memories. I absolutely love when pets are included in newborn sessions because they are family too!

One of my favorite things about in-home newborn sessions is that we don’t have to choose between a lifestyle session and traditional newborn portraits. With the right setup, we can create both styles in the comfort of your own home, while keeping things relaxed and personal.
